considering the size of the universe, I'd say its plausible.

I'd say it is downright foolish to assume otherwise.

Troll answer: There are people aboard the ISS right now, so yes there is life outside earth.
Semi-troll answer: It is hard to imagine that the lunar landers, voyager spacecrafts, and Mars rovers didn't (unintentionally) transport at least one microorganism/bacterium away from earth.

but i believe there is atleast something out there... maybe not intelligent life but some form of complex life somewhere in the numberless star systems

Definitely. Maybe humans, maybe not. But I believe there is life somewhere else.

I could've sworn they said there's an estimated 60 billion planets in our galaxy alone that are in the habital zone for life. If you think about that, it's a pretty strong possibility that life exists elsewhere
