I want to open thos topic for discussion and for viewpoints on what YOU think humans will accomplish by the amount of years you give.

For me personally, I honestly hope humans make contact and form an alliance or something like that in the year 2033.

I say by the year 2050 there will be human brains (in a sense) inserted into robots that are fully functional

Why insert our brain when we can just upload our conscious to a robot and live forever. It will probably happen sooner than you think. Some hardcore gamer/porn addict will probably invent it to make those things better for him.

because you'd be fighting an uphill battle to convince people that "they" would be the ones that would be alive still.

if you transfer the brain directly then there is no argument that YOU are the one that stays alive and not just a copy of yourself.

i for one wouldn't want to be a copy of my original self. that would go against the entire point of the process. i mean i guess if the time came and i was dying i'd be like w/e but aside from that i'd rather stick with my original form.

You can upload your conscious back to your brain. We wouldn't want to leave our body because we will be genetically modified to live for a very long time. Maybe there will be a time when we will put it in a computer if you're trying to get away from a super nova.

I would like to see world-wide wifi and high speed internet by 2053.

Of course, an initiative to do things like feed the world should take precedent.
