spilled anything on it or even had a few drops of something sticky in that region?

pop off the key cap(be careful and use even pressure so you don't break anything) and see if there is something noticeable causing the problem.

this is almost always a physical problem that just needs a bit of cleaning.

no, havent spilled ot dropped anything at all on it, checked all the buttons that are involved but with no result, even tried to slow down the reaction on the keyboard but since it is not on all buttons that was a pretty dead end solution

do you use those keys a lot or is it just something you randomly noticed?

if you don't use them regularly then i'm not really sure what the problem is. this is a rubber dome keyboard correct?

well short of taking apart the entire keyboard and inspecting it for damage i don't know. rubber dome keyboards especially cheap ones can have a very short life span on the keys.

pop a key off and it should be obvious whether it rubber dome or not. if its rubber dome you will be able to see the rubber piece.

i highly doubt its mechanical since its the one that came with the computer.
