I am trying to connect the WII and the XBOX 360 to my router. I just had to reset my router and shit. i talked to comcast and they helped me and now im just trying to set up my stupid wii and 360 and i cant.. laptop and phones, no problem.

im looking online but the directions they are showing are not working and i dont even have some of the options they show for the 360.. there is no "edit settings" in the network settings. soo im lost. and confused and very frustrated.. this has been a 2 hours process thus far.

i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that your wii and xbox have g wireless, and that your router is set up to use only n wireless (i know many consoles only come with g wireless).

check your routers settings and make sure it it set to g and n wireless, not just n wireless

i can't walk you though the exact setup (since I don't have one, I can only read it out of the manual) but look for "wireless mode" or something like that and change it to "g and n" or just "g". Then save the settings. Hope it works for ya.

/e
oh i think its "wireless setup" tab
then "wireless mode", set it to "b/g/n mixed", then click apply

then at the bottom of the page make sure "operation mode" is set to mixed

warning: this is not the fastest mode of communication, but it is the most compatible.

the fastest configuration would be:
wireless mode = n only
operation mode = greenfield
