I know through quantum mechanics that time travel is theoretically possible via wormholes, but i was wondering if we'll ever actually be able to achieve it. What are your thoughts on this? Also, do you think we'll ever be able to stabilize wormholes so they don't close on us?

We already have, If you didn't know traveling from the moon to earth makes humans just a few seconds younger than staying on earth, look it up. Or something like that, I saw it on Morgan Freeman's shooting through the wormhole show :3

Yup, I do know that. The guy living on the space station technically traveled through time, even if it was only a fraction of a second. My question is more along the lines of giant leaps through time, such as us achieving the possibility of traveling at light speed.

a giant leap would be achieved even at half the light speed, just do it long enough

If possible, could someone expand on this, I'm kinda interested <3

the two postulates of special relativity are:
1. All inertial observers will agree on the laws of physics.
2. All inertial observers will agree on the speed of light.

An inertial observer is someone who is not accelerating.

With these two postulates, some high school geometry, and some clever arguments; you can derive most of the weird stuff about special reality yourself, including time dilation.
this site has a pretty good walk though

I highly doubt that we'll ever be able to go BACK in time.

meaning we had to accelerate in a negative way
