download malwarebytes
save it to a flash drive
reboot infected machine into safe mode
install and run malwarebytes
if it will not install/run rename the file(s) and install/run it again.

a factory restore would fix the problem as well, but it much more intrusive

I'd already tried malware bytes, from external drives, didn't work.

did you follow my instructions and do it in safe mode? what happened when you ran them?
