I just made KNO3 for the first time, was pretty cool
Used Ammonium Nitrate and Potassium Chlorate, filtering off the caking agents.
:D
What should i do next, i was thinking about Concentrating Hydrogen Peroxide from 3% to 30%

Flash paper (Nitrocellulose)? that's pretty easy.
Sulfuric acid may be a bit tough to get, as i have no idea where to get it.
I've heard i can get it from the hardware store, never tried tho.

no i'm talking about paper that will pop then they land on it... Nitrogen triiodide
but you need to add some sugar (or something) so they will go for it

Might be a bit too dangerous, but i'll give it a shot, outside lol.

So i have a problem with my KNO3, it appears, when i was trying to recrystallize it, it just stayed as water lol?
I cooled it and everything, weird.

If you are below this curve you probably won't get much. Maybe you have too much water, perhaps boil/evaporate some of it off?

I was also thinking this, however im going to try just freezing the water (not to the point of ice cubes but till its really cold)

Okay ladies and gentlemen, i'm going to buy my Iodine tomorrow, as well as my ammonia.
I've heard that "Old Country" Ammonia from home hardware (Canada) is 100% ammonia.
