All of a sudden safari stopped working. Can't connect to any sites. However, works perfectly fine with a vpn and other browsers can work without vpn. Noticed this after a google search yielded in a a redirect that the only thing I could understand was "tks" (my ISP). Rest was in German. In Germany after all :P

I don't know shit about apple, but something is wacked about your Safari settings. Try looking at your proxy setting inside Safari. Seems like it is somehow set to only use the VPN.

Nope all settings are good. I think I have found the problem I just don't know how they are doing it. All apps that were preinstalled can not get Internet connection through my home Internet. It has been blocked by the ISP somehow. That includes the App Store and weather. However all other apps I have downloaded connect np. All apps work on vpn or just using phone data

e/ maybe I did something illegal in Germany? Lol

The only way your ISP can tell the difference between different browsers is by analyzing the user agent string contained in your packets. If you really want to investigate this line of reasoning, alter the user agent string on your Safari browser and change it to "Mozilla/6.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:16.0.1) Gecko/20121011 Firefox/16.0.1" or to the user agent string of a browser you know works.

However, I think you are barking up the wrong tree. I would investigate local settings on the machine first. Perhaps your firewall blocks non-vpn'ed Safari connections?

New phone. Haven't dl a firewall-/antivirus

E/ and I was in middle of using it when it happened. Also it's not just safari. It's anything that came with the phone that uses an int connection while connected to my home Internet. I can't even iMessage. But turn off wifi and use phone data everything goes to normal. Or I can just use vpn and wifi

I finally found out what the redirect was. It just now happened while on my vpn. It said they detected an abnormal request from my device and it had a code I had to type in to verify it was me. Was actually english this time since its a us server I'm connected too. The more I find out the more it seems like my ISP did somehow block my phone. It's just that it only effected apps and functions that are preinstalled on the device
