Hey all, first I´m sry for my bad english, but since I'm german it´s kinda hard for me ^^

Here´s my problem: A few ppl around here should know that well-known bug in Diablo 2 ... I opened 5 games ( Mf Runs etc. ), I did the 5 sec. wating time in the lobby etc. , but i still got the "error" [ Your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm (...) ]

I know there are plenty of topics about this issue, but I'm not able to fix it :-/

Well, I'm able to restart my Router (Speedport 504V) to get a new IP (after having done that i can join just 1 game until I get another "ban"),
but I am a lazy boy and I dont want to walk to my router every 10min ...

There should be a solution to the problem or at least a program that helps me out a little bit I already watched some vids on youtube etc., but i couldnt find anything to solve my problem :-(

So guys, if there is a program or anything else i`d appreciate it very much if you told me how to get it/ where to get it ( just need to change my IP, without restarting the router)

but for what it is worth:

depending on your isp, changing the mac address on your router will cause you to be issued a new ip address, but typically you still have to reset the router to make this change take place. You generally can do this from your computer, through the routers configuration page (change the mac and reset the router).

after this, the only real way to make yourself appear to have a new ip address is to route your traffic though an external server of some kind (proxy/vpn). If you use a free server, generally you won't be able to really play a game with it, as the bandwidth will be small or even unstable. It is possible to play games though servers that you are willing to pay for.

ya i wasn't sure if it would or not. i don't personally use a router so it works fine for me.

yep, exactly without a router it will work.

try the ipconfig release/renew in dos ??

that won't work either, for the same reason
