Okay.. so I know what I know, in the name of science and fundamental truths that are clearly evident.

and some things I have my own conclusions/perspectives on why, all based from I guess, in the name of science.

All my reasoning's for any occurrence is explained and analyzed in a "scientific way"

That being said, I also know that science practically obliterates Christianity, in every aspect.

Now, my wonder is; do Christian's see scientific explanations/random facts the same way I see random Christian explanations/random 'facts' ? A bunch of bogus horseshit?

Not all Christians are idiots. The idiotic Christians ignore scientific fact. Hell, even da pope supports evolution.

But how do Christians even think the way they do if they know how the brain works?

In my opinion, God and Christ are just figments of imagination created out of a few things;

-the want to 'fit in'
-needs imaginary friend.. help guides you?

I dunno, I totally see the big picture, just don't know how anyone can still "believe" in anything, let alone the "Bible"

2,000 year old writings of half-drunkard men will not impose on my life and what I take to the grave, ever.

But i'd pretty much like an answer from a full-fled christian, see whatcha got to say :)

with all honesty though I'll stick with my scientific 'illusions' that update when proven wrong, rather than to believe in 'faith' which takes pride in being steadfastly wrong.

idk, i used to a person that needed evidence for everything. very strongly on the atheist side of things. since after all, how can you believe in something you have no proof of? What's the point?

Then I had the realization of... well what if I was right. What if there literally is no spiritual side to the universe. What if we literally are just collections of cells on a spinning dirtball in the middle of a vast amount of absolutely nothing. No end and no beginning. I thought about it.. and that emptiness scares me. So I said fuck that and started believing :P

i honestly don't know how you live with yourself if you're being serious. to turn your back on your own ideas out of fear is disgusting.

I'd have to say.. agreed 100%

I mean I guess I somewhat get the 'scared' feeling but I know what I know and no way I can turn back like that.

Fear is just in your mind, nowhere else.

this is a true example of pascal's wager;

If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing.

WELL, anyone else? Glad there's responses, and I don't want to shoot down Christians I just can't help but try to begin to argue :(

excuse my ..hastiness :)

Most Christians I know just either ignore scientific fact as opposed to dismissing it as untrue, remain ignorant on scientific facts, or don't take the bible very literally.

So you'd prefer to believe that you're going to hell in hundreds of religions and to heaven in the one you picked because your geographic circumstances led it to be the predominant religion where you live? That sounds like a great way to view the world around you.

no, christians would most likely accept your scientific explanations/random facts and explain how they work inconjuction with christianity.

as opposed to the closeminded assuming anything that comes from a christainian is bogus horse shit.
