So, if any of you have parents/grandparents who were born prior to March 1927, you should ask them what it was like watching the dinosaurs go extinct. Must have been depressing. After all, I remember watching the Mastadons go extinct four years ago. Those big hairy elephants never saw it coming.

To be honest, this whole thing reminds me of when my sister got entangled with a radical Christian Church.

She argued until she turned blue about how the Earth was no more than 10,000 years old. About how "they" carbon dated a fresh dead sheep or something and it said it was millions of years old.

Regardless, she finally saw through the mystic of that Church and went to leave it in search of something a bit... Eh... Less... Out there?

When she announced her departure, her "friends" from that Church started stalking her, telling her that she was destined to burn for eternity, and making empty threats.

It's pretty spooky shit.

I think the last graph is a little misleading - Maybe cro magnon came on the scene at that time, but I think we should start the clock on humanoids at about 4M years ago.

the bible never states the age of the earth, though it does state time is relative and what is but a second for god could be an eternity for man (helps to explain the whole 7 day thing eh).

it sucks some one put so much effort just to put their ignorance of the bible on display.
