Kundalini Yoga is nourishing of all of the centers in your body... The reason the world is screwed up is because nobody is open inside; they can't receive energy and they have nothing to nourish themselves... You use everything and your consciousness grows, that's really what it's about. And you get as big a life as you are able to hold onto inside... But, the thing is you have to be secure within yourself to make a life and admit that you used all of these people and all of these things. The ego in a man is that he doesn't need anybody, and the reality is that you need everybody. Consciousness is everyone because God is one. Well this is the way God is one, not by rejecting but by accepting and making it a part of your fabric consciously... There is nobody teaching who isn't an instrument.. They may not be your instrument but they're an instrument and they have to be respected. By rejecting them you cut out a piece of your fabric. If you love God you have to love life; you have to really begin to understand that. Every single thing that happens, you know? You walk out of a car and you step in dog shit; then you have to think how lucky you are that something good is coming. But if you sit there and scream at every dog in New York it's not going to help anything. You have to really begin to do these things, where you turn everything into energy, everything into surrender, and everything into work. It's very important.. You can begin to convert things into positives qualities.
Kundalini Yoga is opening all of these muscles; the muscles of self pity, the muscles that haven't been energized. And you suddenly say, 'Look, it's me.' It's not them. It's not anybody outside. It's you. And you're living for yourself. You're not living to spite somebody; you're not living to show somebody else how wonderful you are; you want to live and be happy. And so you have to take this plant that you are and bring energy right down to the root system, and circulate that energy throughout you. And this is really what Kundalini Yoga is.
We are here for one reason. Everybody walking on the Earth is here for exactly the same reason. And that's to grow up and get away from here. And the symbolism is there; you're born, a beautiful soul comes in and what dies? a disgusting, miserable, closed person. Someone who doesn't represent life. You look at a baby and you see everything beautiful of life; everything gorgeous with the most beautiful thing coming out of them. And you look at people who get to be 80 years old. It's a symbol of what happens. That's why you have to begin to love life. Begin to love, and be open. And to see everything in it's positive way. Because it's your capacity at birth, your opportunity at birth, to transcend everything that's happened to you and go out as sweet as you came in; or, much sweeter, actually, because you can completely destroy any bad karma that you were born with. It's really within you. But it has to do with staying open. You can't accomplish this by being closed. And so everything is a reason to be open. Nothing is a reason to be closed. Nothing at all. It's in your own mind, this accepting and rejecting. And you have to find that in your everyday.

Kundalini yoga is dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

We Might Have To
Medicate You

Resist your temptation to lie
By speaking of separation from God,

Otherwise,
We might have to medicate
You.

In the ocean
A lot goes on beneath your eyes.

Listen,
They have clinics there too
For the insane
Who persist in saying things like:

"I am independent from the
Sea,

God is not always around

Gently
Pressing against
My body

Then why are you posting this thread? So someone else can think it's cool, and attempt to practice it only to throw their chakras out of whack and screw up their energy flow with blockages and then end up in a mental ward?

Kundalini Yoga saved me from the brink of suicide. It's a very powerful practice; in a matter of 18 months I broke through a veil of illusion and fully opened my heart chakra.

This is not a meditative technique. This is the philosophy of Kundalini Yoga.

Does anyone have anything to say regarding my post, or just the topic title?

How'd you hurt yourself?

I was at burning man doing spontaneous yoga postures on the playa [with a crowd of people watching], and I refused to speak with police officers and a mental health professional. I was told that if I wouldn't speak to them they would take me to a medical tent until I was ready to talk. I followed them to the medical tent, while the crowd behind me chanted, 'Let him breath!'. Shortly after arriving at the tent the doctor ordered an injection of thorazine. I non-violently resisted five or six police officers and medical personal. For the doctor, the final straw was after they layed me down to rest when I raised my left leg straight up in the air, to insult everyone present.
This was the same occasion I opened my heart chakra. At first I ignored the professionals because I was trying to harness my heart's energy for the benefit of my guru. When they persisted, it offended me. They were simultaneously supposedly concerned about my welfare while on their radios telling their commanders they had a 'crouching tiger hidden dragon' with a 'thousand yard stare'.

The lesson there is that when you have a profound spiritual experience you must not isolate yourself from the world. You are channeling God's power, and that gift is meant to be shared.

Here are some more Rudi teachings:

"The only emotion that should exist for us is one of gratitude.. All Yogas are a build up for the opening of receiving. It's to really become nothing within yourself. There's no ego involved in it. Ego is only the defense of a sick person, it's an expression of emotion. It's not an expression of a conscious person who's willing to be responsible and disciplined. And you have to within yourself use the opportunity of our teacher coming to grow consciously, and that's to be open and receptive to each other and to be open and receptive to him. You really receive, you let the energy come in and fill you. It's a natural nourishment... It's a natural nourishing of your being, and this is really what we are working for. There is nothing but that."

"Nothing has value unless you are consciously aware of it."

"You have to when you come here really open in your guts and open in your heart and just let it out. And don't say, "Oh well you don't want this kind of garbage, cause this is a terrible thing and nobody else has this," and you go through this whole routine - it's stupid. It's absolutely stupid. Your garbage is not special. We've seen lots of it. Lots and lots of it. It's only whether you're going to take it home or leave it here. You leave it here we burn it up, and that's what shakti is about. It's the burning of lesser things to make spiritual energy. And you have to have it; God made us this way, with garbage, because if you didn't have garbage we would have nothing to burn - we couldn't grow spiritually."
