Whatever happened with the discovery of the Hig's bozon? When was it discovered and have there been any great advances in science thanks to this discovery?
Anyone care to link me to any articles/videos that can provide insight on this? It tingles my interests.

it was discovered like 6 weeks ago. it has not sparked any great advances so to speak, just further reinforced the Standard Model and lent evidence to the theorized mass-giving scalar field deemed the Higg's field.

There was an article I read, CERN says it may be possible for lightspeed travel some day in the future now.
