I'm 20 years old and have a great fascination with psychology, and have for a very long time.

I want to be a Neuropharmacologist.

I was wondering if anybody actually knows/has been through anything involving this.

...Judging by the topic, I would suggest another field. Like Engineering.

From what i understand if you become a Neuropharmacologist the only real job you will really be able to get is as a pharmacologists. Like working at clinics and drug behavior and such. So up to you. Biological Science seems like it would be a bit more interesting but it's your choice on what career you choose.

Psychology branches from it with using case studies of drug testing on people or using neuroscience to help people over come their drug addiction/depression.
