well this is just one model, but it's scary as hell if you live anywhere near new orleans...has it as a cat 4/5 with a direct hit
hopefully it's wrong for everyones sake there and it's is weak and relatively harmless

4 or 5 huh? That's news to me. The most I've heard is around a category 2. Then again, the Gulf of Mexico is notorious for transforming a tiny tropical system into Scrambles the Death Dealer practically overnight.

like i said it was just one model out of many that are used for forcasting
this one has been calling for a new orleans or west hit long before most others though seems its wind speed is way higher than others though
from just reading opinions from weather guys on twitter whos job it is to interpret the models aa cat 2 or maybe 3 is most likely...that cat 4 or 5 forcast model just got alot of peoples attention when it came in

the system is moving slow at like 15 mph, over very warm water, is it going to pass over any eddy's ?

looks like cat 1 tops now from listening to the forcasters
will be more of a rain/flood event than a wind event just from reading tweets of people i guess dry air was getting into the storm preventing it from getting too much stronger..still not classified as a hurricane as of right now..that one model was wayyy off , good thing to for the people there
