Pretty cool stuff. You have to watch the video.

"Unlike a touchscreen interface, with the Leap, there's no friction. That sounds trivial, but it isn't. It's the difference between attempting to conduct a symphony with a wand and attempting to conduct the same symphony by sketching out what the orchestra should do next via chalk on a blackboard.

Plus, Leap operates in three dimensions rather than two. Forget pinch-to-zoom; imagine "push to scroll," rotating your flattened hand to control the orientation of an object with a full six degrees of freedom, or using both hands at once to control either end of a bezier surface you're casually sculpting as part of an object you'll be sending to your 3D printer."

if this interface is on it could detect when you are fapping

and they could make some spyware that could record your fap habits, then post them on facebook

I want one.

This could easily replace the mouse, but idk about the keyboard... don't think voice recognition is there yet.

Voice recognition is definitely there.

From everything I've read the Dragon software is the best... I've tried it and... definitely not there yet lol. Speed/accuracy is so much better just typing.

I dunno dude.

I've seen some pretty impressive instances of voice recognition.

I can't really back it up from a technical aspect, but I'm pretty convinced that the technology could integrate into this system without a problem.

It works fine if you speak like a newscaster and only use standard dictionary words and say "comma" (and other punctuation) out loud...
Terrible when it comes to speaking normally (and I'm born/raised in Iowa so don't even have any accent), and especially for things like proper nouns, acronyms, etc.
Also as far as editing stuff after-the-fact... as in changing words, punctuation, replacing sentences, etc... it's so much easier with a mouse and keyboard than trying to use voice commands (though I suppose using the leap to somehow help might fix that)
And then of course there's the problem of the input device. I had all of these difficulties while using a standard headset... trying to do it with a microphone at a modest distance (on the desk next to the keyboard) makes everything several times worse (if it works at all)... and I wouldn't want to have to wear a headset whenever I'm using the computer.
