Most animals eat 5-10 times as much food as they produce in meat.
~2/3 of the world's food supply goes to feeding livestock (even bigger percentages in the USA)
If it weren't for this absurd waste of food we'd be able to feed everyone in the world several times over.
Not to mention that 80% of antibiotics are wasted on livestock (and lead to the creation of "superbugs")
So yea, Farming > Ranching.

farming feed more people ranching more profits..when cost of water goes up can't afford grow food but grapes you still make a profit ...some how they knew this in Bible. one of the things that will pass food goes up in price and harder to get wine wont be affected
What do grapes/wine have to do with ranching?
