You obviously can't trust any article you read but some sources are just downright awful. I'm hoping we can collect some of the exceptionally bad ones here to lampoon them.

If you're having trouble finding one, try some of the stuff in datajunky's profile.

Try to keep this secular.

Fake science is everywhere.

Its the reason people swarmed grocery stores for whole wheat bread about five years ago. The reason why people still take omega three pills every day. The reason why people avoided saturated fat like a fixation while ignoring carb intake. I could go on..

People aren't aware how the science behind it works and its genuinely hard for people to sift through what the media throws at them. This wasted productivity costs people immense amounts of time, money, and essentially human life.

If you think this discourse has no purpose except for kicks than you're wrong, But you're entitled to your opinion. Yea, I called out datajunky.

My main interest is what's bold.
Do you have a solution?

I would propose better integration of science classes into younger age groups with the inclusion of fun experiments, real life examples, and student application.

In the end, however, dispelling the dogma starts at home.

The problem I see with the world is that the average person is stuck into coloring their opinions with only one mindset. If they hear one version of the truth at home with their parents, even if it is a relatively realistic view, they are stuck with that and write off anything in the world that is inconsistent with that one world-view.

But I still agree with what you say, so maybe we should use the home and school as tools to encourage people to explore the world on their own, and not be led. By comparing all of the different ideas, people would be encouraged to acknowledge their wrongs and failures so that they can realize their errors and change their mindset to fit what the world actually shows them through their experiences. The happiest, most productive people in the world aren't the ones that know it all to begin with, its the people with resilience, the ones who don't close off any paths or options based on their previous bias, the ones willing to change themselves to accommodate their limited resources and abilities.

Take my words with a grain of salt.

The universe you are experiencing is just that!

An experience, nothing more, your story is not what's real(which means what is true to me(which means that that is (witch means [INSERT NAME YOU CALL IT])))

I am asking you to give up the ego completely which means a totally surrender to who you are.

Do you really know if other people exist? How can one experience another?

There is No real self confirmation that the person beside you is a completely separate individual from you. They are just thoughts not what's present.

You could be the only dreamer. I'm not saying you are I'm just saying be open minded.

Even time is not real, it is just a thought because you will never arrive in the tomorrow. There is only this moment right HERE right NOW you can never leave the present moment.

Know that this story is just another dream because how does one tell the difference between what is a dream and what is not a dream.

No content is too much or too little of an experience its just all the same from the perspective of seeing the universe as all one.

This goes for everyone. Do you see the paradox yet the truth?

I'm actually very familiar with these ideas. In essence, we are all just the universe acting itself out in the present moment.

My perspective is that I choose to play the game of existence because I care for the future survival and happiness of the human race.

Bases of power like those in religions tend to attract some nasty characters. Religion and science can coexist completely though, in theory.
