My father needs to scan a document for his roofing company.
He wants to be able to type on it and print it out for the customer right then.

I told him to bite the bullet and retype it all but it has our BBB logo and business logo as well.

Any programs out there that can do this?

Why not just find the original document and go from there?

I suggested as well but he bought it from someone and they print off a bunch and you copy from there.

I am gonna end up just making him a new one probably, just looking for other options first until I have the spare time.

sounds like he wants some sort of OCR. i dont have one in mind, just google around. im not sure what that document looks like exactly, so i dont know how smooth it'll be.

if he just wants the logo, he can scan the document and copy/paste that logo into Word to make a new template

can he just make copies of it and write on it by hand? or use something ghetto like paint and add text boxes? if he doesn't have to write on specific lines/fields but rather something general like the top portion of the page, just type it out on word where you want it to be, then print it out directly on the document. hold the document next to the screen to help align it. doesn't work that well if he has to type directly on the line (forget the movie Blank Check if you've seen it)
