I either want a laptop or a pc, that can play a simple online game such as Runescape, to it's maximum compacity. It's not much, but I'm not sure whether a pc or a laptop is more suitable, as it's mainly an online game. I'm a highschool student, so a laptop would be sorta dandy for taking notes in class, researching, etc, and still play my games. Now, what comes down to it, is what do I get? I'm thinking of around 1k-1.5k AT THE MAX. Any ideas?

To play Runescape on max, you don't need to spend 1000. It sounds like you're leaning on a laptop so you're going to want something that lasts the whole day at school.

The first step is to determine the screen size that you want. Then you should figure out which model and brand have the longest battery life for that screen size.

Well I like playing games, so to be able to decently play some games that are a year or two old including maybe some NEW ones,would be nice. A screen no bigger than 15 inch, and was leaning towards something with an I7 in it.

There is a problem with the FPS and lag and they haven't been able to fix it.

Even before this, was an issue.

My computer is 8 years old, lol. Time for a new one.
