The last word has to do with death or decay.
Also Solarium is like a sundial or something referring to constellations in latin.
But yeah, I think some of the words are just made up, or encoded.
Yeah I think I would have to agree...I don't know what all the other shit means but mortis...mortify...mortification. I found 3 different definitions........or 3 categories o_O
1. To cause to experience shame, humiliation, or wounded pride; humiliate.
2. To discipline (one's body and physical appetites) by self-denial or self-inflicted privation.
v.intr.
1. To practice ascetic discipline or self-denial of the body and its appetites.
2. Pathology To undergo mortification; become gangrenous or necrosed.
1. (tr) to humiliate or cause to feel shame
2. (Christianity / Ecclesiastical Terms) (tr) Christianity to subdue and bring under control by self-denial, disciplinary exercises, etc.
3. (Medicine / Pathology) (intr) to undergo tissue death or become gangrenous
[via Old French from Church Latin mortificāre to put to death, from Latin mors death + facere to do]
mortify - From Latin, meaning "kill or subdue the flesh," it originally meant "to kill," then "to destroy the vitality or vigor of," before it took on its present meaning.
See also related terms for subdue. This is the definition I was referring to. I think the Egyptians used this word and turned it into Mummify. (Don't quote me on that, just a theory/idea.)
