No, you shouldn't be worried. Coronal Mass Ejections hit the Earth with surprising regularity and we barely notice. You might lose service on your cell phone for a few minutes. But that's about it, really.

Such a massive X-Class flare just erupted from the sun.

Its really affecting our already weakened magnetic field at the poles even though its not a direct blow.

That's crazy, they just talked about it on the local news! Normally they don't even pay attention to that stuff.

Anyways, this was an X5 full halo event. It's hitting earth today. If this had been aimed directly at earth, it would have caused trillions in damages.
