"Not necassarily a real threat" as the article actually states, is different from "not a real threat". And don't kid yourself, 450 Feet in diameter can be significant. check out the Tunguska Event, where it seems to be estimated at about
only 200 feet across

We fully expect that the odds will go way down, most likely to zero, by then."
So, realisticly this will turn out to be more of a discussion of "What if", but is in fact this is a billion times more significant than Nibaru, or Mayan 2012 and is probably the closest thing to an actual early prediction for a possible collision that I can recall. Anyone else remember a better one?
