Luria plates
im having trouble on data collection for bacteria on luria plates
some of them bacteria covered whole surface and others are in colonies

Are you sterilizing your tools, plates and are you wearing gloves? Also are you making sure your not accidentally contaminating them? What medium are using for growing these said bacteria?

Some agar medium no doubt.

I agree with you, however. This could be an issue of contamination and/or improper delivery of the specimen to the medium.
