is there a way to find your gps after its been stolen and sold or lost, etc?

Do you have your receipt/the box?

If it's lost then it's probably your problem alone.

Stolen and sold, however, can be remedied through your local law enforcement. Especially if it ended up in a pawn shop.

And speaking of pawn shops, have you checked any of them? They can incur a pretty hefty fine for purchasing stolen goods and will, possibly, be more than willing to return your goods (with proof) while avoiding the strong arm of the law.

My friend has their old roommates one and wants to sell it to get some extra cash. Guess what I'm asking is if they could get fuck over by the law for that.
