Lmk.

-Seeds/plant must be easy to find/buy (like wal-mart or target or home depot)
-Must not take up much space (window sill would be great or a small pot)
-Must not require much maintenance (I don't want to change soils or move the plant if it grows too big etc)

tomatoes is about the only thing you can do without a full scale garden.

grass sucks.

Indoors I assume:

Pea plants
Morning Glory (You need to soak the seek overnight)
Nasturtium
Variety of herbs

Just a few to look into.

I'm currently growing a Madagascar dragon tree but it needs alot of light to grow and you need to keep the soil pretty moist. Any kind of Ivy's are really easy to grow but it grows real fast, use a hanging basket for these. Also growing a tea tree or at least that's my assumption of what it is i got these plants at a funeral. The dragon tree is really hard to distinguish what type it is.

an easy plant for beginners to grow with low low maintenance? In my opinion a cactus fits this discription best. ive dug cactus up and threw it down in the middle of winter and then it got snowed on and they still lived. cant kill them bastards.

here is a picture of the variety i have. they make yellow flowers (also a purple flower type i want to get), have very small needles. And they are very easy to propogate. simply cut a peice and plant it!

Also if you want you can cut a pancake off, peal it and eat it! ive heard there pretty good.
