Tl;Dr - Apple just patented hydrogen fuel cell technology for their products. It'll make laptop batteries last for weeks instead of hours and it'll make laptops and ipods etc, be extremely lightweight.

Good, I've always wanted my apple product to be 0.0042% thinner and lighter and 200% more expensive.

if apple had the technology to build a laptop with a battery that lasts for weeks, then they would build the laptop thinner and insert a smaller battery so that the battery lasts again for one day.

right! the techology for such has been around for a while, mostly centred around cars, but in impact situations is somewhat expolosive

dont buy a laptop with this thing until after this patent runs out
when everyone else can make it, it will open the supply and drive down the cost
then buy a laptop with this option it
