Over the past year ive become interested in the methodology of learning as well as the efficiency of it.
Are IQ tests fair assessments of how smart you actually are? Ive never actually taken one. Anyone know a link to a free accurate one (if they are accurate?)

If you want to do it right, you should find a psychologist who administers it. Online IQ tests are unreliable at best.
I had one when I was a child in 4th grade by a psychologist who was my aunt's colleague. From what I recall, they test verbal, spatial and abstract thinking. Various tests have been used over the years, and you can read about them on wiki.

Does everyone have the same life experiences and exposures?

There won't ever be a totally fair IQ test but the cream always rises to the top (unfortunately after death in many cases lol).

IQ is just a percentile based on logical reasoning and memory comparing you to the whole population. A 110 would mean you'd perform in the top third of all people in most cases involving reasoning. A 100 would mean better than 50%, 90 is 33%, 120 is 90%, etc.

IQ doesn't measure actual brain power, but comparing yours to the general population's is a good indicator of overall intelligence.

iq tests are inherently culturally biased
when u say " compared to the whole population " , it really compares it against a population

IMO they do a pretty good job but aren't completely accurate. If two people scores are widely separated, you know that is a difference. But if two people's scores are close, it doesn't mean one person is slightly above the other, it could be off by a little.
