... And yet accept religion as more credible, instead of less

i think the belief of aliens can rely more on science and statistics using the assumptions we have made thus far of the universe. Religion, on the other hand, solely relies on faith as they generally worship higher powers that may not be bound by the scientific constraints we have made theories/laws about.

in other words, religion is solely faith, whereas belief in aliens can stem from scientific findings/assumptions.

Well, belief in aliens is generally stated by saying something like "Aliens are probably out there somewhere. It'd just be too unlikely for us to be alone in the universe given how big it is." It is rarely stated with absolute certainty. That's where religion and belief in aliens differ. Religion is an assertion of Absolute Truth.

Would you care to elaborate on your assertion?

That explains it. You're not capable of stringing together a coherent thought.

i would state it as an absolute truth
life has developed many many times during the course of this universe's history
and will develop many many time's in its future

we are in no way unique , or special , or anything of that ilk
nor is our planet
