Was a topic in my euro class which I could really care less about however it struck me because I feel like I do it a lot. Is it very common? I see myself often saying (especially with girls) If I say this, what will she say back and what can I respond with and what conversation would that start. I especially see this with text messages.

Dialogism- narration in which the speaker is anticipating on what the interlocker is going to say.
In our perspective, im the speaker and the interlocker is the person ur talking to.

i do it often, and sometimes i get so wrapped up in it, i just don't respond

What situations do you do it in. With girls? Your actual friends? Family, etc.
Do you feel we try to divert conversations this way because its where we have the most knowledge?
One of my friends who does it a lot. Whenever were high or at a party he always tries to divert conversations into psychological ones as he is a psychology major.
Only problem with this is when your not with smart people they have no idea what the fuck he is talking about lol. Fail Dialogism.

Often when I do it ill try to change the topic to something that people can often relate to. Ill often look into their personality and find out what they are interested in if its a girl. Slowly bring up little bits and
pieces about that topic, and then let them say OMG YOUR INTERESTED IN THAT TOO? OMG NO WAY!
