I went through a period of about 7 years that involved a semi-regular occurrence of sleep paralysis.
The most intensely frightful experiences of my life occurred during this period and I'm truly interested whether there are others that can comment or educate.

I've gone near it a couple times intentionally and it scared the shit out of me. I felt itchy just before it which was painful enough, then i felt my body go hot and sweaty to cold within minutes. I felt my heartbeat go up and I started to feel detached from my body. Even so, I find it an exciting prospect although not one I would like like to go through every night.
