Not quite sure if this is the right forum but I guess it goes under tech :p.

I need a new gaming headset and i got a budget of around 210 euro. Im looking to buy one for somewhere around this price. A wireless one would be preferd. So far I like the creative tactic Omega. Anyone got some experience with it? Im open to other suggestions ofcourse :)

are you talking about headsets with mics or headphones? cause i knew a guy who swore by a pair of audiotechnica headphones because they had low bass output and an enormous, accurate soundstage...said it cut back on the noise caused by explosions, and he could track people's locations thanks to proper sound placement. dude was nuts

ATH-AD700s (the 900s would probably work too)

The Logitech G35s are a really solid headset with a great microphone. They cost my $200 AUD (pretty much American Dollars) and i'm not sure how that translates in euros, but they have served me quite well. I think it would be 10x times cheaper in Deutschland, anyway. They are 7.1 Surround Sound and they have an amazing amount of customization for the microphone and that kind of thing. They are very comfortable and I never really want to take them off and the microphone is superbly clear. They cancel out noise very well :)
The Turtle Beaches I have are the x41s and they are so amazing for gaming aha (I think they are 9.1). I'm pretty sure they can only plug into xbox 360s but there are plenty of models of Turtle Beach out there that go with PC, albeit maybe not as powerful as x41s.

Can the creative be used via cable also?

Would like one that can be used wireless and cable with top notch quality, no top budget if someone could find one :P
