Some strange hallucinations brought on by a near death experience would definately not be enough to convert me.

Convert me from nothing...

If I hit my head and had a strange dream, why does it instantly mean that some transcendental entity is judging my every move.

And If you truly do believe... Then why bend knee to a genocidal maniac? Fear?

Deep respect and love for a being that, according to your religion, has killed billions of people because he doesn't agree with their views?

And even some just because he's god and he can...


And yes, if I hit my head hard enough... I might end up brain damaged and lose all logic and reason. But you're simply arguing that I have to be insane to believe in god doesn't help your case much.

Let's start with the remark 'he never killed because he can'

He killed billions with his flood, He sent the angel of death to kill all the firstborn of egypt - Not to mention the numerous other things he did to the egyptians because his prophet didn't agree with the pharoah. Thousands and thousands of children - How can children be guilty of anything?

Second - He killed them because they didn't follow him and their views were 100% wrong. This is what we nowadays call a dictatorship, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, Stalin, Hitler. All these people killed because people who didn't agree with their views.

Incidentally... their views being 100% wrong is again only an opinion.

Do what I say or die and burn forever in a fiery nasty pit of torture etc...

Doesn't sound like the words of someone to be loved. Or someone who loves you.

Flood was because everyone had forgotten who he was & the ENTIRE world was wicked vs his one lover
Angel of death was slavers children - the other things were because the pharaoh wouldn't submit to God even though pharaoh acknowledged him. (typical warfare shit) if your childern were held as slaves you'd have people killed to free them as well.
