because science works on a step by step process to prove ideas logically.

Every piece of scientific research is published. Don't believe someone's claim? Read what they did and why they did it. Don't believe that their experiment should have yielded those results? Replicate their experimental setup and prove them wrong.

The great thing about science is that its claims are independently verifiable by absolutely everyone in your field. The peer review process keeps false information from entering and remaining the body of scientific knowledge.

thats the thing about science it applies to what we know at the time and will continue to change as we become more advanced and knowledgeable.

science is never claimed to be perfect just the best understanding with our current knowledge.

Science is ever self-testing. When scientists make a mistake, that mistake is admitted and the science revised.

because they can be logically proven. convincing is all about evidence and science offers the best understanding of that evidence.

What is it about theories in the human sciences and natural sciences that make them convincing?

Repeatedly verifiable experimentation to test those theories makes them convincing. Thousands of students every year in high school classrooms perform experiments that test the theories from natural sciences.

Is there something specific you're getting at? Like, for example, why the Theory of Evolution or why the Big Bang Theory are convincing? I'd rather talk in specifics and get to the root of your question since that would be more helpful to you.
