Well it was a flat out mistake.

It was something to do with everyone's/satellites watches being in sync.

no. it was a possible explanation but its not what happened. no one knows if it was flawed or not

they are redoing it to help find out what happened.

also, it was flawed. whether or not it impacts the results is the question. failing to control a variable is an experimental flaw

they don't know if its flawed or not. no one has actually found a flaw but rather offered up things to test for in the next run.
