Hey i'm thinking of getting some PC Speakers and I wondered if I would like to go 2.1 or 5.1. I have a budget of around 200-250$ max, can be cheaper. Does anyone know what system I should get? I'll be using it for gaming and music.

5.1 is better overall but you have to set it up at the right angles..use more space..spend more money.

2.1 is better for pc imo.

yeah I heard that these speakers were very good but I was thinking about getting a 5.1 since I really want to get immersed in my games. I'll still consider these though ^.^

ya only issue is there aren't a lot of 5.1 pc speaker setups on the market. not many pc users have the space for 5 speakers so the market is small

So my best bet in 5.1 really is the z506?

And my best bet 2.1 is corsair sp2500?

not really sure on the 5.1s. don't know any sites that offer higher ends setups in these

in 2.1s probably.
