Been thinking about going to college for anthropology but kinda curious if anyone knows how the work is in these fields? Only jobs i could really find tbh is college professor assistants and jobs over seas in Ireland and such.

That's par for the course. There really isn't much real anthropology left to do, and there are a lot more people that want to do it than there are tasks to be done.

Underwater Archaeology my friend. Coastal regions that have since been flooded by our migratory ice burg friends hold many a treasure to be found.

Bumpy, Looking for a good college now. I live in North Idaho was gonna go to North Idaho College or University of Idaho but thinking i might want to go somewhere else. I did a little info checking on University of Georgia also. I'm looking to get a Master's or Doctorate degree. Give me some suggestions i prefer a University. Will do some information checking on the ones that are recommended. I checked University of Oxford since they have a School of Archaeology but highly doubt i can get in there lol.. Planning on going to college either 2012 or 2013. Going to North Dakota next year so i got the money to go. Thanks to who ever helps!

Dude go for the archeology thing if you're passionate about it! I thought about archeology myself but I dunno...so many things have already been discovered and I'm pretty sure all the prime dig sites the old school archeologists want to dig up has some sort of urban landscape over it now so that's definitely a no go.
