I need help... My sister and I where on a walk the other day and looked up into the sky, we saw Mars as it is closer this time of the year(basically just looks like a large star though) and then began to think. What is the largest planet?? We went to school the next day and asked our teacher and she said that the sun was the largest planet in our solar system and it will remain that way for millions of years. My thought is what if we took the fire off the sun and waited 10 years for it to cool, we then colonize on there and no longed have issues of "not enough room." Maybe we set fire to Venus for our new sun since the existing sun is to big?
I have thought of the same question multiple times and I've always come up with mixed answers. I guess it would be the same as if ants were to move into a canopy of Indian huts at any point would debris from a star threaten polar bear lives.
