My desktop went to crap recently so i did a chkdisk thing and when i restarted it it has this blue screen with a bunch of "recovering orphaned file _______ (####) into directory file 439."
chkdsk is verifying the security descriptors (stage 3 of 3)

correcting errors in the master file table (mft) mirror.
What does this mean?

I dunno anything about computers as far as programming/language

Basically a file was overwritten and was corrupted.
Windows attempts to restore the corrupted file back to when it worked or by removing it completely.
