We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.

(you should take a look, it worth it)

lmk what you think about this ...

people aren't inherently BAD. they can become destructive in response to failing to meet their needs of belonging and happiness. humans can be whatever they choose to be.

its impossible to say what direction we are going based solely on what is happening now, but most problems we've caused are reversible if we start caring about them on a global scale.

the biggest problem imo would be changing corporate interests into caring about sustainability. if we can make that happen, it will solve 90% of our environmental problems.

We cannot live like that anymore, our ressources will be depleted soon or later, our oceans are emptying at an alarming rate and you know what's making me sad... we actualy use Ocean for trash... (if you look at ocean trash vortex http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc6LvdsyJ4U ).
We are doing agriculture but a major part is going to feed animals or biofuels. When 1 billion poeple are now starving to death ?

I think we are useless, I or you can't do notting alone but together we can change.
Together, before it is to late.

and don't think recycling it's gonna help, most of your recycling will go to trash either.

Stop going to mc do, don't eat so much beef ( i am talking to fat americans )
Cut the bond between you and compagnies (products), reuse, consume wisely, don't waste water because you think you sing better under shower, etc...

here some Questions...

how do you interpret the intention of the author?

are you responsible for the current state of Planet Earth?

what do you learn on yourself?

Sry for the mistakes, I need to improve my english writting but at least, I think you understand the main idea....
