I want to start a compost bin but I need it small scale. I don't have enough organic material for a cubic yard or cubic meter which seems to be the preferred size.

Anyone have some experience?

just throw it together in a pile and itll compost.

or if you want to spend a little money get a composter and just throw your stuff in it as you go. they work great because they keep it all really warm so things will compost in no time. and all you gotta do is turn it over to stir it around once in a while.
