I know that water slowly absorbs into your skin
so will the mud get into me?
What will happen if it does?
I read that there are nutrients that are supposed to get into your skin and is supposed to help with certain things.

If I get random mud on me that does not have nutrients, what will happen?

mud baths like that are nutrient rich unlike regular mud which just has the normal amounts.

no you aren't going to absorb dirt into your body its too large to get in.

all mud has nutrients and or minerals, else it would be dirt or sedimentary so to speak. im not sure if you can actually absorb these nutrients and or minerals though. your pores do open which helps remove toxins and id imagine it helps remove dead skin basically giving your skin a freshness to it. but if you want to get really healthy skin, then you must start from the inside with your diet.

The only thing that will get inside you is water. Nothing else can get through your layers of skin. Think of it like pouring muddy water over sand. By the time the water has traveled through the sand to the bottom, it is crystal clean. Only water can travel, via osmosis, through your skin. The absorption of nutrients thing is mostly a lie. The healthy part is from the abrasiveness of the sand in the mud; it exfoliates your skin and scrapes away dead skin cells. Just don't do it too often or you can scrape away healthy skin cells too.

When it comes to the micro-world, your body is pretty much fort knox, so don't worry about much getting into your system. (Unless you eat the mud  )

Hope this helps. ^_^
