So i remember when it began, when my eyes were opened for good.
It was like a purifying night. Like my mind, and my outlook on life was cleansed.
After that i didnt care to be a part of society, or to go with trends of the norm. Or wear the hottest clothes (obviously i still try to look good here and there).
After that night, it was like i finally felt what it meant to be alive.

how the feeling of awakening and feeling of awe began...

There was nothing to do, it wasn't my first time ever smoking weed, but this night was the last night before two guys i knew were moving to California.
So me and a couple buddies cruise over to their house where everyone was sitting around, smoking weed having a good time.
The bowl is being passed around, pretty chill environment. I take a few hits, buy a gram and roll a blunt. we smoke it. :)
Then Blake goes to his bedroom comes back with Planet Earth. Little did i know my life would be changed forever.

We put it in, and immediately i am sucked in, stoned as hell everything is more vivid on the TV screen. It was almost unreal.
For once in my lifetime i felt the awesomeness of life. Its a very hard feeling to explain. Text via forum does me no justice.

But from that point on my life has been so much better, curiosity ran through my veins and I am a changed person.

I was just wondering if anyone else can remember the day as vivid as i remember it, when you felt the first urge of curiosity?
Like just the overwhelming lust for knowledge and truths.

My first time was pretty sweet, though I won't go into the details. It really does put things in a different perspective.

Planet Earth sounds like an amazing way to do it XD

And it brings up the age old question, "Is it real... or just deception?"

My mom got me one of those dinky telescopes right around the time Comet Hale-Bop was passing by. So I was 9 when I first started looking up into the sky with wonder. I've always enjoyed science and math classes far more than English and History, too, since it just seemed like science had cooler things to teach us.

I had a day like that when i was 5 years old and i remeber a moment of it perfectly well, at that part of my life i was very curous about what death was, so i wanted to explore it, i had figured out i had to hurt myself alot to be able to die, but i didnt know anything about what the most efficient way would be, so i stood in the kitchen with a small knife in my hand and i didnt know at all what to do with it, cut my arms, or my legs or face, chest etc etc, and i realised that in order to kill myself i needed to know alot more about how the human body worked.

im stll a tiny bit curious of what death is, since those of us alive cant know it intimately. but the urge to learn stuff, figure stuff out has remained with me since that moment of time when i was 5 standing in the kitchen thinking about killing myself.

i did ofcourse never go through with those plans and i have never thought again about ending my own life, i enjoy life to much for that, and i would hate myself if i didnt have time to learn more stuff about the universe we live in.
