Could someone help me

I just bought a 46 RCA (cuz i got an awesome deal) MODEL: 46LA45RQ

But when I run PS3 it is very laggy or floaty.

Does anyone know what to do about this.

Also the picture just looks good when it is not in wide form.

I think there is something with the settings i need to adjust but I'm not sure what.

It looks like it is an issue with the hz of the tv

it is running 60 and the ps3 is running 24

not sure if that is the issue but that might be useful in solving this issue

I guess that might cause it, somehow I get the feeling a ps3 should be running at a much faster frequency than 24 Hz. I mean, VHS tapes run in 24 Hz (24 frames per second).

have you tried using a different HDMI cable? Or using a different HDMI slot on your TV?

yah after reading some more it looks like it should run at 60 but when my display comes up it shows 24

ill try some other slots and hope that will work...even when i plug the composite cables in it lags

get an hdmi cable for 8$ and resolve all your issues. composite on ps3 is buggy as hell to begin with.
hdmis are notorious for being bad so try new before you blame either component
