So basically im looking for a panasonic/samsung 40-45inch tv

1080p


now i just dont know what else i want, show me what i can get for $600-800

Opt for an lcd much cheaper, less chance of burnout, and save a lot of money on electricity.

the only real thing you get out of plasma is the high refresh rate, but theyre known for overheating issues.
