ok so im trying to defrag my computer and every time i try it gives me a error message that says.

Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the
volume (C Please run Chkdsk /f)

please help dont want to run on slow comp anymore.

best solution is to just reformat and reinstall xp every few months.

dont really want to do that becuse i have stuff on here like d2 that i no longer have the discs and forgot the code.

put the stuff you want on a flash drive/cd/external hard drive/another internal hd.

oh ok. well if i do format me C drive do i have to re download the op?

you need your windows xp install cds to reformat and reinstall.

yeah dont got thos disc's anymore. so i know theres another way to fix this becuse ive seen many people have this problem.

just used Cc cleaner and by passed it thanks
