ok, everytime i click on a desktop link it says i ahve to open it with some file (this includes Firefox/Internet Explorer , etc etc)

even diablo 2 does it........anyone know what mgiht be the problem? It ownt let me add or remove files either it says application not found

You've almost certainly got a virus of some sort.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html - Run this (assuming you have windows 7.) The one for .exe files, obvs.

Then go download Malware Bytes Anti-Malware and run it to remove the infection.

Then sit in the corner and be very ashamed for getting a virus on your PC.
