Two questions:
1) In a LOBECTOMY (I believe thats the right term) how exactly do they remove the part of the brain that they severe?
2) In a LOBOTOMY what do they do to the part of the brain that is severed?

In a lobectomy, they remove any particular lobe. It isn't necessarily in the brain.
In a lobotomy, all they do is sever the ties between the two parts.
I believe.
