I'm not religious either,

basically yes, they are the same substance or have the same nature, revealed in 2 persons.

Its difficult for us humans to comprehend, the trinity is on a whole different level.

Are you saying that God is a person? I thought he made the persons, and isn't one himself.

and lol @ the not religious part, christianity is a religion

Sometimes the Holy Trinity is referred to as being three persons (God the Father + Jesus + Holy Spirit) but still is one being. That's just the word they use sometimes.

But yes, it's hilarious that he think he's not religious even though he completely believes in the Bible, which lays out the religion of Christianity. It's just like when people think they're non-denominational because they go to a "non-denominational" church. If the building that you worship in has a Church doctrine/constitution/some other piece of text that lays out their specific core beliefs, it's a denomination by the very definition of the word. It's like they don't even know what the word "denomination" means. It's like trying to say you're a U.S. Citizen but oh no, not an American. No sir.

First of all, I'm really wondering why you took my quote from the "Christian Fellowship" section, and made and entire thread on it in here?

This is actually a really good post regarding the subject:

There is a big difference between being religious and having faith.

The way we like to like christianity is by faith not like its a religion. Because it isn't made to be a religion. christianity is a Kingdom, Jesus said the word "church" ONE time, but he said "kingdom" countless times.

If you didn't notice, it was the religious leaders that killed Jesus and hated him. Although Jesus' purpose on Earth was to die for us, You still can't dismiss what Jesus said, "don't be like the religious leaders".

You definitely have to take that into account.

And I do realize how Christianity upsets you, I wasn't always a follower of Christ, so I know the feelings that come about when you're an unbeliever.

Christianity is a religion and you're just lying to yourself if you believe otherwise. Either that or you have a fundamental lack of what words mean and are in desperate need of a dictionary.

Part of a kingdom. He's coming back with the entire kingdom.

Yep, then I'm definitely not religious.

But I would say that definition is a bit inaccurate anyways. Religion seems to contain sets of rules/ and or traditions. Rituals that must be performed in sequence, etc... For example, Catholicism is very "Religious". Going through sets of traditions & rituals, etc...

Here is another web definition of religion. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/religion
re·li·gion
   /rɪˈlɪd’É™n/ Show Spelled[ri-lij-uhn] Show IPA
–noun
1.
a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

If you are an atheist then that is your religion thus making you religious using the argument you have provided. The word especially shows that most people use this word as believe in a god or gods but that is not always the case.

You literally believe that Jesus is en route to Earth from some far away planet with an army of millions. That's supernatural. Furthermore, you also believe that God is in control of the universe and everything contained therein.

I'm fine with having a religion based on logic and observation rather than faith :P
