I don't know if this is the right forum but i would think this falls under "technology", anywho.

I have a wireless router, my computer is wired through the router, my laptop is wireless, my PS3 is wireless and that works all fine and dandy.

However, my GFs laptop (wireless connection) will work fine for a few days, then just randomly be unable to connect to my network, so I have to power boot my router. It gets really annoying that every couple days I have to do this, does anyone know what could possibly be wrong? Or how to stop it? Or how to get the connection to register on her comp without me having to restart my router?

Not exactly sure... One thing you can try is put her MAC address into the router's table so that it automatically gives her the same IP address every time she tries to connect. That might fix it.

Something else that might be happening is that the wireless router is currently configured to only give out so many IP addresses, and then when they're all in use, additional IPs cannot be given out.

The last thing I would try is to reset all of the router's settings back to default and then just recreate the same SSID with the same password. Doing that should definitely fix the problem as well as continue allowing all of your other devices to be able to connect without having to change their settings.

yep just add MAC addy to router table then hardcode IP addy in control panels>>(classic view) network connections>>wireless network properties (type in correct static ip addy here).
